Dr Bernie Pauly

Bernie Pauly is a nurse researcher and Scientist at the Canadian Institute for Substance Use Research and a Professor in Nursing at the University of Victoria. Her program of research focuses on health equity in substance use monitering and harm reduction services and she is the co-lead of the Canadian Managed Alcohol Program Study (CMAPS). She is recognized as a University of Victoria Community Engaged Scholar, a recent recipient of the Canadian Public Health Association Ron Draper Award for Health Promotion, the Canadian Mental Health Association (BC Division) Public Policy Leadership Award and a fellow of the Canadian Nurses Association and Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.
