Dr Louisa Picco is a NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow. She has recently completed her PhD which focused on identifying prescription opioid related risks via prescription drug monitoring programs and clinical screening tools. In particular, she is interested in how prescription drug monitoring programs influence clinical decision-making and how these decisions may result in intended and unintended consequences for patients.
